The September 2, 2008 Primary Election is rapidly approaching. This web page contains a large
quantity of important information about the September 2, 2008 Primary Election, including how
to purchase lists of voters who have requested a vote-by-mail ballot. Please read each page
carefully prior to calling the Recorder’s office, as most questions you may have will be
answered in the enclosed material.
All early voting information will be provided to campaign committees only through our secure Web Site.
When completing the Order Form & Contract, please be sure to include an e-mail address and fax number,
so that we may communicate any necessary information to your campaign.
Please review each of the links below. If, after reading all this information, you still have questions,
please call Sara Balentine at (520) 740-4350, and choose Option 8 (Administration) from the menu.
If you are going to distribute your own Early Ballot Request forms, please send the
Recorder’s Office a proof prior to your final print, so that we may provide input.
Please remember that it is the Recorder’s office that must process these Early
Ballot Request forms. In order to expedite ballots, the request must include certain
information, in a format similar to requests produced by this office.
Please remember that Early Ballot Request forms must be physically received in this
office by 5:00 p.m. Friday, August 22, 2008 for the September 2, 2008 Primary
Election. If you would like for voters to contact this office directly, please have
them call (520) 740-4330. Voters may also log onto the Recorder’s Office Web Site at
www.recorder.pima.gov, and either request a ballot online or download a form to fill
out and mail in.
